Termite Damage & Repair

If you're a home or property owner, termite prevention should be at the top of your property management list. If you see a termite or signs of termite damage, the problem may already be much bigger than you know. It's recommended that a termite treatment be scheduled as soon as possible. But even if you don't see termites, a regular inspection is a great way to keep termites at bay.

Termite RepairTermite Inspection of a Wooden Basement

Once the problem area has been treated, we will share a termite damage inspection report with you. If we find that repairs are needed, we will suggest the best course of action for your unique situation. Termite repairs can include:

  • Fixing Termite Damage in Wooden Beams and Joists: Termites often attack the wooden beams and joists that support the floors and walls of a home. These insects can tunnel through wood, weakening it and making it more prone to collapse. To fix this type of damage, we first remove the termites and then add support or replace the damaged wood.
  • Replacing Rotten and Weakened Wood Caused by Termites: Termites can also damage the siding of a home, and even get into your insulation. These insects can burrow into the wood, causing it to rot and become weak. To fix this type of damage, we’ll exterminate the termites and replace damaged materials. If the damage is severe, it may be necessary to completely replace the damaged siding.
  • Repairing Termite Damage in Your Home's Foundation: One of the most dangerous types of termite damage is to the foundation of a building. In their search for food and nesting opportunities, they burrow into the concrete, causing it to become weak and prone to cracking. This type of damage is important to get fixed right away, as it’s what’s holding your house together. Depending on the damage, we can repair the foundation or reinforce it if it isn’t damaged too badly.

Thompson Brothers has a full-service team of experienced contractors that can handle any kind of termite wood damage repair needed, including sills, joists and rotten floors. Our professionals will restore the structural integrity of your property no matter how severe the termite infestation may be. At Thompson Brothers, our goal is to create a comfortable, pest-free environment for your property.
