Why Termites Are a Serious Threat

Termites are one of the most destructive pests that can infest a home. They can cause extensive (and costly) damage to structures, foundations, furniture, and other objects in and around your property. Termites feed on organic materials like wood, paper, and other cellulose-based items, such as foundations and walls.

To help fight the battle against termites, we focus on three steps:

inspecting for termites

Termites themselves are hard to spot with the naked eye. It's easier to look for signs of termite activity and damage instead.

What does termite damage look like?

Here are some signs that termites might be active:

  • Cracked or buckling ceilings or walls
  • Maze-like designs in wooden structures
  • Mud tunnels in home foundations
  • Actual swarms of termites

I have signs of termites. What now?

If you notice any signs of termite damage in your home, or if you just want peace of mind from having an evaluation, our expert technicians will provide a comprehensive, free termite inspection.

During this inspection, we’ll examine all of the areas of your home where termites may live. If we find signs of active termites, we thoroughly inspect the surrounding areas to assess the full extent of the damage and develop a comprehensive treatment plan. If termite damage to wood is discovered, our experienced full-service contractors can also complete the necessary repairs.

Termite Letters

For property owners and buyers, our licensed professionals provide termite inspections known as a Wood Infestation Report, Termite Letter, or CL-100. A termite letter is a formal document outlining the presence or absence of termites, the conditions that may lead to an infestation (i.e. moisture), as well as recommendations for treatment (if necessary). These are commonly requested during real estate transactions.
